1. The short version
Section titled “1. The short version”Our website uses Google Analytics and nothing else that needs your permission. Analytics is switched off until you allow it.
No analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google unless you choose to allow analytics on the banner. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through the cookie preferences link in the footer of every page, or at www.amarti.io/cookie-policy.
This policy is published by amarti Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 12543976, at 61 Westway, Caterham, England, CR3 5TQ.
2. The rules we are working to
Section titled “2. The rules we are working to”Cookies and similar storage technologies are regulated in the UK by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Where the information stored is personal data, the UK GDPR also applies.
PECR was amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, with the relevant changes taking effect on 5 February 2026. Those amendments created a small number of new exemptions from the consent requirement for low-risk storage, including storage used solely for statistical purposes to improve the operator’s own service, storage that applies a user’s appearance or functionality preferences, and storage used to establish location for emergency assistance. The Information Commissioner’s Office finalised its guidance on storage and access technologies on 29 April 2026.
The new statistical exemption does not apply to our analytics. Google Analytics sends data to Google, which processes it for its own purposes as well as ours, so the data does not stay within our control. We therefore continue to ask for your consent before loading it, which we consider to be the correct and honest reading of the rules.

This is exempt from the consent requirement because it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested, namely to have your cookie preference respected.
4. Analytics cookies, only if you allow them
Section titled “4. Analytics cookies, only if you allow them”If you choose to allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 so we can understand how visitors use the site, which pages are read and where people arrive from. That helps us decide what to write and what to fix. Google Analytics then sets the following cookies:

These cookies contain a randomly generated identifier. Together with the data Google collects, that is personal data under the UK GDPR even though it does not include your name or email address. Google processes it on our behalf as our processor. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We never use this data to identify you individually and we never use it for advertising.
The lawful basis for this processing is your consent, both under PECR for the storage itself and under the UK GDPR for the personal data. You can withdraw that consent at any time and it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
5. What we do not do
Section titled “5. What we do not do”- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
- We do not use social media tracking pixels.
- We do not sell or share your browsing data with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not use cookie walls. The site works fully whether you allow analytics or not.
- We do not treat continuing to browse, or scrolling, as consent. Nothing is loaded until you actively choose.
6. Changing your mind
Section titled “6. Changing your mind”Use the cookie preferences link in the footer of any page on www.amarti.io, or go to www.amarti.io/cookie-policy, to allow or reject analytics at any time.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you view stored cookies, delete them individually or in bulk, and block them for particular sites. Blocking cookies entirely may affect other websites you use.
If you browse with JavaScript disabled, Google Analytics never runs at all, so there is nothing to switch off.
You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on if you would prefer to opt out of Google Analytics across all websites.
7. Your rights and how to reach us
Section titled “7. Your rights and how to reach us”Because analytics cookies involve personal data, the rights described in our Privacy Policy (AM-POL-013) apply, including the right of access, the right to erasure, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise them, or to ask anything about this policy, email info@amarti.io or james@amarti.io.
If you are unhappy with how we handle a cookie or privacy matter, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office through the ICO website or on 0303 123 1113. Since February 2026 the maximum penalty for a breach of PECR has been aligned with the UK GDPR at up to £17.5 million or 4% of global annual turnover, whichever is higher, which is a good reason for us to keep getting this right.
We review this policy at least annually, and whenever we add, change or remove anything the site stores on your device. If we ever add a new cookie that requires consent, we will ask you again before setting it.
